Fresh Wild Foraged Matsutake Mushrooms
Available in 1lb or 2 lb options. As the weather cools each autumn, Oregon forests offer a rare culinary treasure. The Matsutake mushroom has a wonderful, sweet aroma, and a meaty texture that is truly unique. With a strong flavor often described as piney or woodsy, it is best used in a dish that can highlight the unique Matsutake flavor. We love Matsutake sauteed alone and seasoned with a small amount of soy sauce, fresh ginger, and garlic to complement its sweet flavor.
