Authentic fresh wasabi root (rhizome) is a treat. Most 'wasabi' that is available in stores and restaurants is actually horseradish with green food coloring added. Authentic wasabi has a cleaner, more vegetal flavor along with heat, and is perfect not just alongside sushi, but as a flavoring agent for everything from steak and oysters to salad dressings and cold noodle salads.
We deliver our boxes every Friday afternoon. Please place your orders by midnight Thursday for Friday afternoon delivery. Any orders placed after then will be delivered the following Friday.
